Our sympathetically renovated accommodation in Chigné is part of a traditional Fermette (16th Centrury) with exposed beams and wood-burning stove. We offer self catering or Chambres D'hotes accommodation, comprising of a one bedroom, en-suite, fully fitted kitchen/dining room, TV (Sky freeview channels) and off road parking with a private outside area with BBQ facilities.
We are located a mere 45 minutes from the 24 Hour race track at 'Le Mans'. And within 50 minutes of Tours and Angers. We are only 30 minutes from the tourist town of Saumur where you can visit many wineries, chateaux, many museums and tourist attractions, or just sit outside a cafe and 'people watch'.
Local ameneties include a shop, bar/cafe, fishing and tennis. Yet within 20 minutes others include supermarkets, swimming, riding, a zoo, many quality restaurants, a beach, canoing, sailing and wind surfing. Within 40 minutes there are the infinite possibilities on the Loire River, Loire Valley and Loir Valley. (yes there are two rivers with a similar name). So all options are covered for a holiday or just a get-away.
